what is that? maybe a big fire in that year
a black annual ring split the plankng into two
Chris reminded us last week, the concept and rough sequence of building this boat this morning. One other thing that he told us is that he recommend a free program naming gantter which is capable of making gant chart and he shared his file to some students having a laptop with them, talking about project management as well. The first mission today was the deep ripping. The timber that Lance and I skimmed last week was deep ripped and while one team was doing that the other team with Chris dressed those planking. Some of those planking has a splitable black annual ring which I reckon there was a big fire in that year, but I should have asked Christ anyway. We sat two plankings one of which is on the chine and the other one is sat in the middle of the chine and keel and it needs tiny bit tension up side to make the other plankings sit easily. When one of them sat properly, use bevel and sort out the angle between the first planking and it so that they have the same angle. We actually made a mistake on the frame 0,1,2 which have to be infront of the station line, but they weren't so we redo them. It wasn't a big deal that the first planking became a bit short.
