Planing and sanding again

We carried on planing and sanding today.

Chris has a tool for gripping the plane blade when honing, which was pretty comfortable.

Cut off that extra part plum to the edge of nosecone. That extended part of nose cone is going to be cut off plum as well.

Nice cut but it has slight angle in the picture so we sanded to make that right angle.

Getting neater. We check the fairness by using batten several times.

What has been done this afternoon? I left earlier today because I had something to do.

Nice. We will cove that edge around the tube.

Lance grabbed a strip of yellow cedar as a batten somewhere and check how fair it is, which is good.

We routerd the foam out where the chain plate fit into. We can see the floor, flange and the coving through the fibreglass.

Probably, fairing is done this afternoon and vacuum, dryfit EDB, rebate the lap, glue chain plate and fill the hollow part at bow with glue, sealer coat. I'm wondering that if it is good to laminate on wet sealer coat or dry.
